Paddle this beautiful river in the heart of the pine barrens.  This section of the Wading River has wide twists and turns and few obstructions in the water. We will be scouting for cranberries ripe for the picking along the banks, so bring containers and take some home. The time for the trip is approximately 4.5 hours; 3.5 hours of paddling and lunch and 1 hour of cranberry picking.  We will eat lunch along the way.  The Wading River is approximately 90 minutes from the Philadelphia Canoe Club.

Meet at Godfrey Bridge, Godfrey Bridge Road, Chatsworth, NJ. (Just past Wading Pines Camping Resort)  Coordinates:  39.6899358895259, -74.54693459022903.  We will drop off the boats and leave participants there to look over them while we shuttle our cars to Beaver Branch.

Take Out: Beaver Branch, (the link is a picture of the turn off Chatsworth Road onto the sand road to Beaver Branch.  Drive a few minutes on the sand road to Beaver Branch) Chatsworth, NJ.  Coordinates: 39.65064984534864, -74.51889040885229.  At the end of the trip, we will use the vehicles left at Beaver Branch to take drivers back to Godfrey Bridge to get their vehicles and get everybody and their boats back together.
