An early start to paddle in the cooler morning hours on this beautiful river in the heart of the pine barrens.  Basic boat control skills are needed on this section of the Wading with it's wide twists and turns and few obstructions in the water.  The time on the water for this 10.3 mile paddle is approximately 5.5 hours.  We will take breaks and eat lunch along the way.  The Wading River is approximately 90 minutes from the Philadelphia Canoe Club.

Meet at Godfrey Bridge, Godfrey Bridge Road, Chatsworth, NJ. (Just past Wading Pines Camping Resort)  Coordinates: 39.6899358895259, -74.54693459022903.  We will drive 10 minutes to the Hawkins Bridge put in, drop off the boats and leave participants there to look over them while we shuttle our cars to Beaver Branch.

Take Out: Beaver Branch, (the link is a picture of the turn off Chatsworth Road onto the sand road to Beaver Branch.  Drive several minutes on the sand road to Beaver Branch) Chatsworth, NJ.  Coordinates: 39.65064984534864, -74.51889040885229.  At the end of the trip, we will use the vehicles left at Beaver Branch to take drivers back to Hawkins Bridge to get their vehicles and get everybody and their boats back together
