Philadelphia Canoe Club
A pretty section of the Delaware River lined by wooded bluffs and rock cliffs. The river has smooth waters, simple well-spaced riffles and class 1 and 1+ rapids. Participants should have basic river reading and boat control skills and some prior experience paddling through class 1 and 1+ rapids. The time on the water for this 15 mile paddle is approximately 5 hours. We will take breaks and eat lunch along the way.
