The Lehigh River from White Haven to Rockport is Class II+ at normal water levels. This 8.7-mile section offers a mix of moderate rapids and some more challenging features.
Paddlers should have white water skills including good boat control and ability to perform a wet exit, eddy turns, peel outs and ferries.
We will meet at 9:30 am at Lehigh Gorge State Park - White Haven South Access. The entrance is on Route 940 (Church Street) in White Haven (link here). Coordinates: 41.052786, -75.775714. It takes about 90 minutes to get there from PCC with no stops. We will run shuttle from there.
