Rainfall should raise water levels and open an opportunity for a trip on the attractive Manatawny Creek. Paddle past farms, woods, rock cliffs and outcroppings, old mills and stone houses and a covered bridge. The creek has many riffles and a few ledges. Portage around 1 dam. We will take breaks and eat lunch along the way. The anticipated time on the water for this 10 mile paddle is 5 hours. The Manatawny is approximately 55 minutes from the Philadelphia Canoe Club.
