Lower Youghiogheny River

This is the Class 3-4 standard run for W. Pennsylvania. When everything else is too low, this will still be runnable. At 1.5', it's a passable, but scrapy Class II-III run. At 2.5' it is a solid Class III+ run, with lots of play. Above 4' becomes pushy and harder, with new routes open.  For more information, refer to the American Whitewater page for this section.
