Rolling Training for Whitewater Kayak and Canoe

PRE-REGISTRATION NOT REQUIRED - STUDENTS MUST BE SIGNED IN AND READY BY 8:45 AM

Important insurance information. Please read carefully.
The American Canoe Association (ACA) insures our pool sessions and requires that
non-ACA members pay a $5 waiver fee and sign a waiver at each pool session attended.
The cost of ACA Membership is $40 annually. To obtain a membership, you can
call them at 540-907-4460 or sign up on line at www.americancanoe.org. They do take credit cards.

FAQ & Rules for Pool Sessions
SAFETY RULES FOR
WHITEWATER ROLLING SESSIONS

  1. All paddlers must wear helmets AND PFDs (life jacket) while in the pool during rolling sessions.
  2. No swimming is permited.
  3. A parent or guardian MUST accompany minors (17 years of age and younger) at ALL
    times during Rolling Sessions.
  4. Rodeo practice may be permitted on Sunday mornings, and is subject to number of boats in the pool.
