United We Paddle - Join Team River Runner for a Memorial 9/11 Paddle

Sorry for the late notice but with the flooding, we weren't sure the creek would be safe....
Team River Runner, http://www.teamriverrunner.org is a national non-profit organization designed to assist active duty service members and veterans an opportunity to find health, healing through paddling. TRR has a goal to get 911 “butts in boats” across the nation on the weekend of the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
The Coatesville, PA TRR chapter is supporting this effort with a park-and-play paddle on the Brandywine River at the Brandywine River Museum, Chadds Ford, PA - meet time 8:30am. There will be a brief tribute to the victims of this event and the service of all military veterans at 9AM followed by a two-hour paddle in that vacinity.
On-the-water participation is limited to experienced paddlers with boats. If river conditions remain hazardous due to recent flooding, paddling my be limited or canceled due to safety concerns.
