Moose Fest is at the end of the year October time if I am remebering correctly. Its not a formal festival like Gauley and there really isn't any organisation, its more that its one of/the last weekend of releases before winter properly sets in and everyone turns up to gp addle. The paddle shop in Old Forge is the place to speak to. If you are keen to paddle the moose it will be running again in spring, and i'm sure with wintery rain too!. Give me a shout if you need some one to take you down the river. No can do with transport tho as I am car-less!
