Hello,

I did some of my early paddling with the PCC in the mid 90's.  I'm back in the Princeton area from Alaska visiting family. It seems to be raining and i'd love to paddle the Tohickon (where i became addicted to kayaking after swimming out of no fish no swim when i was 16) tommorow Wednesday nov. 23 if there's water. I remember after i left the area  someone opened a kayak shop in Lambertville that rented boats. are they still there, and does anyone know the name and/or phone number. Is there anyone else who rents whitewater kayaks? thanks.

Tohickon etc

Hi Brian,

The store you are referring to is MRO (Mountain River Outfitters), they closed about 7 years ago.  Rick is still paddling and I see him at Scudders or the Tohickon releases.  I am unsure of the best way to contact him.

As for the Tohickon, it is kicking today, alas, I am a working stiff today...  Hopefully it will still be up a couple days..
