Call for canoes and volunteers for Project Flow, Friday June 29

Dear Friends,

Once again, this year, we are hosting Project Flow at the PCC, on Friday,
June 29. (That's one week from this Friday.)  Project Flow is a summer
program for kids that teaches them about water and the vital role that it
plays in all aspects of life.  For our part, we will be putting 20 9th
graders and about 6 of their chaperons in canoes for a day of paddling on
the Schuylkill.  For many of them, it may be their first time ever in a
canoe.  Those PCCers who helped out in years past can tell you what a great
experience it was for both the kids and our volunteers.  Those of you who
volunteered your time and/or your canoe last year were so very much
appreciated.  Once again, the club does not have all the canoes that we
need, so we need canoes, and a few volunteers to help out with the event.
Paddles and PFDs are also needed.

Please respond and let me know if you are able/willing to help that day,
and how many canoes you can provide.
